Our doulas are certified birth professionals who provide judgement-free physical, emotional & educational support through pregnancy, labor & delivery, postpartum and beyond.

Meet your doula!

I’m Bethany and I’m passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, labor & delivery, and postpartum seasons in their lives. Whether it’s your 1st or 5th baby, I am here to create space for you to authentically walk through these experiences. I provide judgment-free physical, emotional, and educational support.

In addition to my doula passion, I bring 15+ years of experience as a social worker in the mental health field, and currently, I manage a local Maternal Infant Health Program in my community. I am trained in perinatal mood disorders & perinatal grief and loss support as well.

Meet your Postpartum Nurse

I’m Heidi and I’m excited to have the opportunity to help you through the postpartum period. I am here to listen, encourage, educate and support you and your needs. I want everyone to know they are loved and not alone.

I have always had a love for caring for moms, babies and families. Over the last 12 years I have worked in Labor & Delivery and postpartum care. I love helping moms get off to a good start with feedings and building their confidence in caring for their baby.

I am also a mom to three great kids and am married to my high school sweetheart.

LABOR

Our doulas are committed to supporting the pregnant person and their support person. We provide 2-3 prenatal home visits where we explore your birth plan wishes & expectations. We provide judgement-free physical, emotional and educational support throughout labor & delivery. We wrap up our support with 2-3 postpartum home visits, the first of which occurs within one week of baby’s homecoming. Our doulas are available via phone/text throughout contracted services.
POSTPARTUM

We are here to support you and your family through the early days/weeks/months with your new baby. Our postpartum & infant care doulas can assist with judgment-free physical, emotional and educational support related to infant sleep, feeding, bathing and overall care. In addition to infant care support, our doulas are trained to support the parents’ emotional needs, recognizing the postpartum period is different for each person and everyone needs something different. Let us support you through this transitional time in your family’s life.
INFANT MASSAGE

Learn strokes and techniques that have been shown to help soothe babies, and promote bonding and attunement between you and your baby.
Whether your baby is fussy during the lessons or relaxed, our trained doula will demonstrate the strokes on her own baby doll, allowing you to practice them on your baby, either in the session or later when baby is more regulated.
PERINATAL COUNSELING

Does the transition that’s coming for your family cause some anxiety or stress? Do you struggle with elements of being pregnant? Are you struggling with infertility? Have you experienced the loss of a baby - in utero or in infancy? Now that baby is here, are you struggling with the dissonance of expectations vs. reality? Are you experiencing something more than the “Baby Blues”?
There is no shame and no judgement. This season of life brings challenges that are often completely unexpected. As a Licensed Clinical Master Social Worker, I am here to hold space for you in these days/weeks/months and to walk alongside you in this journey.
GRIEF & BEREAVEMENT

As a certified grief & bereavement doula, I will support you and your loved ones through your birth experience.
In addition to the supports offered in the standard Labor package, I will also work hard to help you and your loved ones create memories with your baby. I will walk beside you as you navigate the path no parent ever wants to have to walk.
Grief & bereavement supports are uniquely tailored to each client to meet the needs and wishes of your family specifically.
